As the Crow Flies page 28 is up!
Here are some sketches of nice things I saw this weekend at MeCAF!
Portland is a super-cute city, and any place where I can both chase hermit crabs around tidepools AND hang out with lots of cartoonists in one day is ay-oh-kay in my book.
Kate Leth, of course, is kateordie, and she is super nice in person and makes great comics, so she also comes highly recommended.
As the Crow Flies page 27 is up! This week: the uh-ohs start rolling in.
As the Crow Flies page 26 is up! This week: Charlie’s not the only skeptic in the room.

Also, for anybody interested, ATCF Chapter 1 (in minicomic form) got a nice write-up over at Comics Worth Reading today. Thanks, Johanna!
Sorry for the late notice, internetpals, but ATCF is gonna be a little bit late on the updatin’ this weekend. I passed my thesis review and am gettin’ me my diploma tomorrow, and the whole city of White River Junction, VT has been converted into one giant cartoonist graduation dance party. Catch you all on the weekday flipside!
Today’s outfit is brought to you by I’m-secretly-a-sci-fi-casino-black-market-comics-dealer. Or maybe I’m just defending my thesis — those three books — this morning! Keep me in your thoughts around 11 AM EST, tumblr!
A little bit of fan art I did for my roommate and fellow cartoonist Sophie Goldstein, who’s celebrating the 300th strip of her webcomic Darwin Carmichael is Going to Hell today. I think Rhiva and Ella are adorable, even when one of them’s a cat.
